Marcel Bircher was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2003. He joined our firm as an associate in 2006.
Marcel’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law (with an emphasis on trademark law), advising clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Marcel's further areas of practice include unfair competition, IT law (where he also gained experience through an in-house secondment in an IT company), data protection, employment and sports.
Marcel obtained his law degrees from the University of Zurich in 1999 and from the University of New South Wales (LL.M.) in 2006. His working languages are German, English, French and Spanish.
Marcel is a member of the following professional associations: Zurich and Swiss Bar Association, International Trademark Association (INTA), Association pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), Institut für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz (INGRES).
