Dr. Bertold Müller
Qualified in 2002, Bertold Müller joined our firm in 2006; initially in our London office and since 2009 in Zurich.

Bertold is experienced in commercial, corporate and competition matters, both as an external counsel and through an in-house secondment. He also advises private clients, notably in art related and estate matters. In respect of art law, Bertold's practice focuses on guiding collectors, their fiduciaries, and institutions in relation to the purchase and sale of art, art and philanthropy, and the long term care of collections.

Bertold holds a law degree and a PhD from the University of Zurich and graduated from Harvard Law School (LL.M.). He has furthermore completed a Master's programme in Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby's Institute of Art, London. From 2006 to 2008, Bertold was a part-time lecturer in international business law at the European Business School Switzerland, Zurich.

Bertold speaks German, English and French.

He is a member of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Associations, the Harvard Clubs of Switzerland and the UK, and the Art-Law Centre of Geneva University.
