Oliver Arter was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2000. He joined our firm as an associate in 2004 and became counsel as of June 30, 2009.
Oliver's practice focuses on international wealth transfer and business transactions. He represents and advises private clients on structuring of assets (trusts, foundations, international business corporations, estate planning, taxation). Furthermore, Oliver concentrates on banking, asset management and finance law. Oliver publishes extensively in all of his fields of practice and frequently acts as chairman and speaker on conferences. Furthermore, Oliver is an academic consultant with the Institute for Legal Theory and Legal Practice at the University of St. Gallen.
Oliver obtained his law degree from the University of St. Gallen in 1996. His working languages are German, English and French.
Oliver is a member of the following professional associations: Zurich Bar Association, Swiss Bar Association, Banking Law Association ("BankenrechtlicheVereinigunge.V,"), Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Association Successio ("Verein Successio"), European Lawyers Association ("EuropäischeAnwaltsvereinigung DACH").
