Alain Gros joined our Geneva office in 1998 and became a partner in 2003.
Alain has broad experience in domestic and international litigation, including civil and criminal attachments and interim measures proceedings. He is a member of the team representing a public entity in the highest claim ever filed before Swiss civil courts in a banking matter. Alain is also very active in all corporate and contractual matters, M&A, aviation and insurance law.
Alain graduated from the University of Geneva in 1988 and was admitted to the bar in 1991. He trained for a time at the Geneva Court of First Instance and worked for six years with a Swiss insurance company. In 1998, he obtained an LL.M. from King's College in London. He worked as a foreign associate with a leading UK law firm in London and as an associate with a Swiss law firm in London. He speaks French and English.
Alain is a member of the Geneva Bar Association and of the Swiss Bar Association. He is also Secretary General of the Franco-Swiss Chamber for Trade and Industry in Geneva.
