Dr. Roger Staub
Roger Staub has been a partner in our Zurich office since 2004. He is Co-head of our IP & Technology Group.
Roger is experienced in all aspects of IP and IT law, both contentious and non-contentious. He advises domestic and international clients in a broad range of industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, fashion, medical devices and financial services. Roger's contentious work includes court litigation and complex international arbitrations. He regularly assists clients in high-profile contract negotiations.
Roger obtained his law degree from the University of Zurich in 1992 and his PhD in 2000. He is a regular speaker on IP and IT matters and has published various books and articles in these areas. His working languages are German, English and Spanish.
Roger is a member of the following professional associations: Zurich Bar Association, Association pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), Institut für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz (INGRES), International Trademark Association (INTA), Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), Swiss Forum of Communications Law. Currently, Roger is chairing the INTA Non-Traditional Marks Committee.
