Danielle Wenger joined our firm as a partner in 2007. She is head of our tax team.
Danielle has broad experience in advising corporations and individuals on tax law matters. Her practice focuses on domestic and international corporate tax law, particularly in connection with corporate reorganizations, international structuring and exploitation of intellectual property rights. Other areas of her tax practice include mergers & acquisitions, capital market transactions and financing. She also advises high net worth individuals and executives on tax planning issues.
Danielle obtained her law degree from the University of Basle in 1996, earned her Swiss Tax Expert Diploma in 2000 and was admitted to the Basle-Land bar in 2004. Before joining Froriep Renggli, she worked as a tax consultant for an international professional services firm and established the Swiss Tax Desk North America of this firm at its San José (USA) office. She has also worked as tax counsel for a Zurich private bank and as a tax consultant for a Zurich tax counselling firm. Her working languages are German, English and Dutch.
Danielle is a member of the Zurich Bar Association, Swiss Bar Association, Executive Board of the Swiss Certified Tax Expert Association, International Tax Specialist Group (ITSG), Treuhand-Kammer (Swiss Institute of Certified Accountants and Tax Counsels), Verein Pro Iure and the IFA (International Fiscal Association).
