Patrick W. Vogel
Patrick W. Vogel joined our firm as a partner in 2007.
Patrick specializes in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance and corporate matters. His experience derives from several years as an associate in two preeminent US law firms in New York followed by his work in the Geneva and Zurich offices of the largest Swiss law firm. Patrick has advised numerous clients on cross-border transactions – in particular private acquisitions and sales, mergers, asset transfers and acquisition financings. His practice also covers collective investments, private placements, asset management, and regulatory matters for Swiss and foreign banks and financial institutions.
Patrick holds a degree in Economics and Business (lic. oec. 1990) from the University of Lausanne (HEC), a law degree (lic. iur. 1993) from the University of Geneva, where he was awarded two prizes (Prix Huet du Pavillon, and the Geneva Society of Law and Legislation Prize), and a master of law in corporate law (LL.M. 1999) from New York University School of Law. His working languages are French and English.
Patrick was admitted to the Swiss bar in 1996 and to the New York Bar in 1999. He is a member of the Geneva Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association.
