Julie Wynne, FRORIEP partner, will be a speaker at the 49th St. Gallen Symposium 2019 on Thursday 9 May 2019 in St Gallen, Switzerland.

The St. Gallen Symposium is the world’s leading initiative for intergenerational debates on economic, political, and social developments. The symposium takes place annually in May at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It brings together key decision makers, thought leaders, and brilliant young minds to address current challenges and opportunities on transforming ideas in to action. This year theme of the symposium is “Capital for Purpose”. From Plenary Sessions addressing a large audience to Interactive Sessions providing an intimate exchange of ideas, the Symposium offers a wide range of discussion formats. Julie Wynne will lead a 3-hour interactive session with Bastien Sachet, CEO of the Earthworm Foundation on the topic “Blending approaches: from sustainability consulting to philanthropy and social entrepreneurship”. The objective of this interactive session is to see how a non-profit organisation can develop an holistic approach blending consultancy in sustainability, philanthropy and social entrepreneurship. This will be reviewed both from a strategy perspective as well as from a legal one.
