Start-up Stories Night | 19 August 2020

FRORIEP is delighted to invite you to our

Start-up Stories Night

on artificial intelligence. In particular, we will focus on:

  • how to protect your AI invention as a start-up?
  • what to keep in mind when using the data of your client’s employees?
  • how to structure your start-up correctly when setting it up?
  • …and what is your story?

Every story is unique – yet similar problems keep on cropping up.

Join us for a night where we share our experiences and take-aways from consulting for and with start-ups.

Not only will you have the chance to hear from experienced lawyers in tech, but we will also benefit from insights from the entrepreneurs’ side, as the start-up stories of this event will be told by Devis Lussi and Juan Baron, both of whom are co-founders of an AI start-up. They will share some of their stories with us, in particular, relating to patent, data and corporate issues.

Devis Lussi, Storyteller, is the CTO of Expense Robot, a Swiss FinTech and AI start-up leveraging artificial intelligence to fully automate expense- & company credit card processes. He is a physicist who obtained his PhD from ETH Zurich for his research in the field of Neutrino physics at CERN. After leaving academia, he worked for four years in the Quant & Analytics team at Ernst & Young Zurich, where he led numerous quantitative risk and AI projects.

Juan Baron, Storyteller, is the CEO of RELE.AI, a Swiss/ Israeli FinTech and AI start-up, which helps its customers create a long-term relationship with their clients using a new communication platform. He has over 16 years of experience working with early stage start-ups in the ad tech industry. Originally from Columbia, he migrated to Switzerland to join Ringier AG as Chief Digital Officer Publishing. With the founding of RELE.AI, he started a new chapter in the field of AI.
