Yannik Hässig’s practice focuses on international and domestic corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration, including attachment, enforcement and international legal assistance proceedings. He also regularly advises clients in sports litigation and arbitration proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, state courts up to the Swiss Federal Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
Furthermore, he regularly advises and represents clients in national and cross-border insolvency and restructuring proceedings. This particularly includes insolvency-related litigation and the filing of claims in insolvency proceedings. In addition, he is experienced in advising foreign insolvency administrators on the recognition of foreign insolvency decisions in Switzerland and the collection of assets in Switzerland.
Before he joined Froriep as an associate in 2018, he worked as a junior associate with a business law firm in Zurich and at a district court in the canton of Zurich.
